This service is used to get the data for a specific document in the Student Record for a specific student. The image of the document is not returned, however, all attached Problem Report(s) and Quality Assurance Result are returned.

This version of the service is available for the 2019 Service Endpoint and earlier ¹⁾.

The service can be accessed by systems with the View Student Document User role.

The user will only see information returned by this service where they meet the Access to a Record rules within the Student Document Data Access Rules for complete access rules.

The following information is provided when using this service:

• Student Document Reference ID
• Expected Version

The Student Document Reference ID provided in the request is validated and the result is returned in the Availability Status:

• Unknown if the Student Document Reference ID provided is unknown in the PASI Core;
• No Access if the PASI Client does not have access to the record being requested as defined by the Student Document Data Access Rules; or
• Normal if the record has been returned.

When an Expected Version is provided in the request for a record:

• If the Expected Version requested is ‘0’, the current PASI Version of the record will be returned.
• If the Expected Version requested is the same as the PASI Version of the record, the record will be returned.
• If the Expected Version requested is not the same as the PASI Version of the record, the record will not be returned.

The usage of this service is audited using Service Auditing including the auditing of Caller Information.

• Linked To Organization
• Student Document School Year
• Is Relevant

• Student Document Expiry Date
• Linked To Organization
• Is Exempt From QA
• Is Text Searchable
• Original File Name
• Is Deleted
• Created Utc Time
• Student Document Created By Organization
• Student Document Quality Assurance Audit Event
  • Note: A user will only see quality assurance history where they meet the Access to a Record section of the student document quality assurance data access rules.
• Student Document Problem
• StudentRecordCustodianList
  • Returns a list of one or more organization codes representing the Student's current student record custodian(s) based on the Student Record Custodian Logic.
  • Organization Codes will be returned in the standard format S.####.
