This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:

• Student School Enrolment: Registration Start Date

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Student School Enrolment: Enrolment Type Codes
• Student School Enrolment: Registration Start Date
• Student School Enrolment: Registration Exit Date
• Student School Enrolment: Exit Date Type
• Student School Enrolment: Is Deleted
• Student School Enrolment: Operating Schedule Reference ID
• Calendar Schedule: Opening Date
• Calendar Schedule: Closing Date

For Programming Type = Regular and Programming Timeframe = Day, the enrolment period (defined by start and exit date) must be contained within a valid Calendar Schedule for the identified school year.

This rule is not applicable for deleted enrolments or enrolments with for a “Future” school year.

Note: If the enrolment start date is in the future, set the Next Scan Date to be equal to the enrolment start date.

• This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Invalid Registration Start Date. Based on the information within PASI, the school associated to the enrolment ({SchoolCode}) is not open on the Registration Start Date ({RegistrationStartDate}).
