To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

This rule enforces that a mailing address must be supplied for the recipient for Document Order Items that are intended to be physically printed and delivered.

The rule does not apply for if the Delivery Method is:

If the country is “Canada”1) or “United States”2), all of the following fields must be specified:

  • Street
  • City
  • State/Province
  • Postal Code
  • Country

If the country is NOT “Canada” or “United States”, all of the following fields must be specified:

  • Steet
  • Country

The fax number is not covered by this rule.

This rule can be exempted for document order items of document type that represents Credentials.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Additional Notes

If the document type belongs to Credential document category, document Ordering Process from PASIprep will create Document Order Item(s) for Students with no Active address.
Later on, the credential document processing agent will update the status of these document order items to System Hold.

Message

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

  • Missing Recipient. A mailing address for the recipient must be specified for a document order with {DeliveryMethod} delivery method.
