This service is used to submit Student School Enrolment information for a student.

This version of the service is available starting with the 2018 Service Endpoint¹⁾.

This Submit Student School Enrolment service can be accessed by systems with the Submit Enrolment User role.

The request identifies that the provided Student School Enrolment should be created or updated. A Student School Enrolment contains (mandatory items are identified with an *):

• Alberta Student Number *
• Reference ID (Student School Enrolment)
• School Code *
• School Year *
• Grade (Student School Enrolment) *
• Local Student ID *
• Registration Start Date *
• Registration Exit Date
• Registration Status *
• Registration Type (Student School Enrolment) *
• Enrolment Type Codes *
• Registration Entry Status *
• School Provided Program Percentage (Note: This attribute is not part of the request for end points prior to 2017)
• Grants Program Codes
• Enrolment Type Codes
• French Hours of Instruction
• Resident Board
• Francophone Board
• FNMI Declaration

When updating enrolments for a historical school year, the following information is also provided:

• Historical Change Reason *
• Historical Change Comment

The requested information is mapped to the request information for the current Submit Student School Enrolment service:

• Set Registration Entry Status:
  • When the request for the Submit Student School Enrolment service is submitted on 2018 and older end points, the code value of 800 (Registration Entry Status) is the only code value accepted on the previous end-points.
    
    
• Set Student School Enrolment Is Deleted and Exit Date Type:
  • PASI will interpret the value of the Registration Status submitted in the service to populate Student School Enrolment Is Deleted and Exit Date Type, using the mapping information in table below:
    

• Set Programming Type (Student School Enrolment) and Programming Timeframe (Student School Enrolment):
  • PASI will interpret the value of the Registration Type (Student School Enrolment) submitted in the service to populate Programming Type (Student School Enrolment) and Programming Timeframe (Student School Enrolment), using the mapping information in table below:
    

• Call Submit Student School Enrolment service passing original information passed into this service along with mapped information, for the further processing.
  • If the Submit Student School Enrolment service is rejected, the rejection messages are returned.
  • If the Submit Student School Enrolment service is successful a successful response is returned.

A response to a Submit Student School Enrolment request identifies if the request was successfully applied. If not successful, the response identifies which validation rules failed.
