A diploma or certificate that is printed on official credential paper and awarded by Alberta Education in recognition of student’s completion of a specific set of requirements. Alberta Education awards the following Credentials: Advanced High School Diploma, Advanced High School Diploma with Excellence, Alberta High School Diploma, Certificate of Achievement, Certificate of High School Achievement, Certificate of School Completion, General High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Diploma, and the Honorary High School Diploma.
