Historical Order Inquiry Process

When the DARTS data is converted, only records that have not been processed yet will be brought into PASI. Therefore, where a query comes in regarding an order that was processed prior to DARTS transcript data conversion, the Student Records users will need to locate the historical records via the PASI Operational Support team for further information.

Terminology

The following terms will be helpful to understanding this business process document.

Historical Transcript Order

For the purposes of this business process, a historical transcript order refers to any order that existed and was processed prior to PASI transcript generation go-live. This includes all records that were not converted into PASI.

Primary Scenario – Order Processed Successfully

This scenario starts when a user determines that they require details about an order that was processed prior to DARTS data transcript conversion.

1. Student Records contacts the PASI Operational Support team to locate an order.

2. PASI Operational Support receives an inquiry from Student Records.

3. PASI Operational Support investigates the inquiry for the historical transcript order.

4. PASI Operational Support sends historical order details to Student Records.

5. Student Records receives historical order details.

This scenario ends where Student Records receives the historical order details from the PASI Operational Support team.
