Innovation and Advanced Education (IAE) provide services to students such as applications for the Registered Apprenticeship Program, Heritage Scholarships, and Student Loans. Some of these services require access to the student’s academic information in the form of a transcript.

The process described below is not intended to describe each service offered by IAE, but is intended to provide an understanding of how PASI fits into those services by providing the student’s transcript.

An acronym for Innovation and Advanced Education

A system implemented within IAE, that acts as a hub between IAE Business Systems and PASI.

This scenario begins with a student engaging one of the many services offered by IAE that requires student acadmic information.

1. The student engages IAE.

• During this engangement, IAE will ensure that the student consents to IAE requesting their transcript.

2. IAE staff provides the service to the student by using the system that supports their processes.

• This system interacts with the ECMI to request student academic information.

• To full this request ECMI submits a transcript request to PASI, waits for PASI to finish processing the request, and then retrieves the transcript from PASI.

• ECMI then returns the transcript to the business system which in turn presents the information to the user.

3. The student receives the results of the service.

• This scenario ends once the student receives the results of the service from IAE.
