myPass Terms of Use Agreement
Please read this agreement carefully before you proceed.
This is a legal agreement between you and His Majesty the King in right of Alberta as represented by the Minister of Education and Childcare governing your use of the web-based ‘myPass’ application (“myPass”).
You:
Must ensure any information you post using myPass is accurate and complete,
Must keep secure and confidential your passwords and login information and must inform Education and Childcare of any known or suspected unauthorized use of or access to myPass,
Agree to not login to myPass using anyone else’s credentials and to not provide your credentials to anyone so that they may login to myPass,
Agree that myPass, and all content posted on myPass, including any content created by you, belongs to Education and Childcare,
Acknowledge that myPass may, at times, not be accessible for various reasons, including system maintenance, and Education and Childcare does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use, accuracy, timelines, applicability, performance, security, availability or reliability of myPass,
Must not engage in any illegal, pornographic, defamatory or otherwise offensive conduct when using myPass,
Agree that Education and Childcare may suspend or remove your access to the site, at any time and without notice, for any breach of this agreement by your account,
Agree that you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your personal information that is displayed in myPass, including your marks, and for notifying Education and Childcare in the case of any perceived errors and agree that Education and Childcare cannot be held responsible for information that has been incorrectly displayed in this site,
Agree that Alberta Education cannot be held liable for any information that you may have depended upon while visiting the site,
Agree that Education and Childcare cannot be held liable for any resulting actions when visiting a third-party website that is embedded into myPass, and
Agree that this agreement shall be interpreted and applied in the courts, and according to the laws in force, in the Province of Alberta.
