This process outlines the general process used to process a document submission.

This scenario begins when a document submission is loaded for processing.

1. The system uses the Document Submission Processor to determine if there are any new document submissions to process and submits the next available 'Pending' document submission item for processing.
   • If the document submission item processes successfully the document submission item status is updated from 'Pending' to 'Processed' as part of the Submit Student Record Document (2019 End Point and Prior) service.
   • If the document submission item processes unsuccessfully the document submission item status is updated from 'Pending' to 'Rejected' as part of the Submit Student Record Document (2019 End Point and Prior) service.

This scenario ends when the system has finished processing all of the 'Pending' document submission items in a document submission.

• Note: When all of the 'Pending' document submission items have been 'Processed' or 'Rejected' for the document submission the system updates the document submission status from 'Processing' to 'Processed' as part of the Document Submission Processor service.
