This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:

• Enrolment Type Code: Enrolment Code

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

When an enrolment record contains an Enrolment Type Code of:

• Step-child of a Canadian Citizen (417) or
• Step-child of a Temporary Foreign Worker (418)

The enrolment should not contain an Enrolment Type Code of:

• Visiting Student from within Canada (415), or
• Visiting Student from outside Canada (416).

• This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Invalid Enrolment Type Codes. Student {StateProvinceId} cannot be enrolled using Enrolment Type Codes 417 or 418 when also enrolled using Enrolment Type Codes 415, or 416.
