This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

When an enrolment record contains a Grants Program Code of 230 (Grants Program Codes), the French Hours of Instruction should be:

  • Less than 237 when the Grade Level of the Enrolment is 'Early Childhood Services (EC)'
  • Less than 475 when the Grade Level of the Enrolment is 1 to 6
  • Less than 380 when the Grade Level of the Enrolment is 7 to 9
  • 250 or less and 125 or greater when the Grade Level of the Enrolment is 10 to 12.

This rule is not applicable if the school enrolment record is deleted.

Effective Period

  • This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Inconsistent French Hours of Instruction. Student {StateProvinceId} should have {FrenchHoursOfInstruction} hours of French instruction when enrolled using Grants Program Code 230 in Grade {Grade}. {FrenchHoursOfInstruction} in the message indicates a range of hours. For example, “less than 237” or “at least 125 but less than 250”
