This rule is used to validate:

• Reference ID (Section)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• School Code (Section)
• Start Date
• End Date
• School Code
• School Organization Information
• Organization Status Is Active
• Organization Status Effective Date
• Organization Status Expiry Date

The section must be associated to a school that is Active on the Section Start Date, when Section Start Date is provided, but Section End Date is not provided.

Effective Starting School Year: 1978/1979

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid Section Start Date. The School associated to the Section ({SchoolCode}) is not active on the Section Start Date ({SectionStartDate}).

Where:

• {SchoolCode} means the School Code field value on the Section record
• {SectionStartDate} means the Section Start Date field value on the Section record
