To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

Capacity value for an Exam Sitting must always be equal or greater than the number of Exam Mark records associated with the Exam Sitting that has a status of “Registered” and is not deleted.
The capacity value will only be validated up to the Scheduled Date/Time of the Exam Component.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Message

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

  • Exam Sitting Capacity must be higher than the number of Exam Registrations. The Capacity value {capacity} is less than the number of Exam Registrations ({count of exam registrations}) for the Exam Sitting.

Where:

  • {capacity} means the student capacity defined for the exam sitting
  • {count of exam registrations} means a count of all “registered” and undeleted exam registrations for the exam sitting record
