To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
Diploma Examination writing centres are schools and Alberta Education. An authority itself cannot be a writing centre.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is in effect for all school years.
Additional Notes
There is a future requirement to allow an Authority to host an Examination. However, currently the business will only allow a School or Alberta Education to be classified as a Writing Centre for an exam. Rather than removing the functionality that allows an Authority to host an exam, this rule will ensure the current business rule is protected.
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Invalid Writing Centre.
The Writing Centre for an Exam Sitting must be a School or Alberta Education.
