Manage Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message

In rare incidents the executive director of assessment may request that a student have recorded on their transcript an Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message.

Investigation

Assessment starts investigation of a student's activities.

  1. Assessment requests a hold be placed on student while investigating student's activities
  2. Student Records places a student hold on student

Student Hold - Document Management

While a student is on hold transcript requests may be attempted.

  • Student requests transcript
    1. Order is placed on system hold
    2. Student Records can cancel order
    3. Student Records can release order, but it will go back to system hold
      • NOTE: Student hold must be removed before order can be successfully released
  • Advanced Education requests a transcript
    1. Order is cancelled
  • ApplyAlberta requests a transcript
    1. Order is placed on system hold
    2. Student Records can cancel order
    3. Student Records can release order, but it will go back to system hold
      • NOTE: Student hold must be removed before order can be successfully released

Decision

Assessment makes a decision after they complete their investigation.

  • Assessment requests Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message to be added
    1. Student Records request PASI support to apply Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message
    2. PASI support applies Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message
    3. PASI support confirms Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message has been added
    4. Student Records removes student hold
  • Assessment decides not to Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message transcript
    1. Student Records removes student hold

Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message

The existence of an Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message will prevent the electronic transmission of a transcript.

  • Student requests a printed transcript
    1. Transcript is printed and delivered with the Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message
  • Student requests a transcript be delivered to one of the myPass post-secondary institutions
    1. Order fails with message that only a printed transcript is allowed
  • Advanced Education requests a transcript
    1. Request rejected with message to contact student for printed transcript
  • ApplyAlberta requests a transcript
    1. Request rejected with message to contact student for printed transcript
