This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:

• Programming Type (Student School Enrolment)
• Programming Timeframe (Student School Enrolment)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Operating Schedule Programs
• Student School Enrolment: Grade
• Student School Enrolment: Registration Exit Date
• Student School Enrolment: Registration Start Date
• Student School Enrolment: Is Deleted
• Student School Enrolment: Operating Schedule Reference ID
• Student School Enrolment: School Code
• Student School Enrolment: School Year

For Programming Type = Continuing Education, the school must offer continuing education programming¹⁾ for the student school enrolment's grade and school year for the duration of the enrolment.

Note: If a specific School Calendar Year is not referenced on the enrolment, all School Calendar Years for the School and School Year are checked.

Note: This rule is not applicable when:

• the enrolment is deleted, or
• the school year is a future school year and there are no School Calendar Year records for the school and/or school year.

This rule fails where a calendar year does not exist for the current school year.

• This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Continuing Education Not Offered. Based on the information in PASI, {SchoolCode} does not offer continuing education for grade {Grade}.
