This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
When a student has an active IndependentUnder18 (Student Disclosure Restriction) record that overlaps their School Enrolment record, then the student should also have the 121 (Enrolment Type Codes) on their School Enrolment record. If code 121 (Enrolment Type Codes) does not exist, then this advice is raised.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is effective starting the 2012/2013 school year.
Additional Notes
An overlapping Information Disclosure Restriction record is one with:
- an Effective Date that is on or before the Registration Exit Date (or if one isn't provided, before December 31 of the School Year), and
- an Expiry Date (if provided) that is on or after the Registration Start Date.
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Missing Independent Student Enrolment Type Code. When the student has an Information Disclosure Restriction record of 'Independent Under 18', then they should also have an Enrolment Type code of 121 - Independent Student.
