This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:

• Student School Enrolment: Grants Program Codes

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Student School Enrolment: Registration Exit Date
• Student School Enrolment: Registration Start Date
• Student School Enrolment: Operating Schedule Reference ID
• Student School Enrolment: School Code
• Student School Enrolment: School Year
• Student School Enrolment Is Deleted
• Operating Schedule Programs

When an enrolment record contains a Grants Program Code in the 400 series (401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 411, 412) the associated Operating Schedule should include a School Program Offering of 'Bilingual Languages' (BL) for the duration of the enrolment.

Note: If a specific Operating Schedule is not referenced on the enrolment, all Operating Schedules for the School and School Year are checked.

Note: This rule is not applicable when:

• Student School Enrolment Is Deleted, or
• the school year is a future school year and there are no Operating Schedule records for the school and/or school year.

• This validation rule is effective starting the 2013/2014 school year.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Invalid Grants Program Code. The enrolment contains a Grants Program Code of {Code Text} {CodeDescription}, but based on the information within PASI, the school associated to the enrolment record {SchoolName} ({SchoolCode}), does not offer a Bilingual Language Program.
