To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

A student won't typically be identified as an independent student via a disclosure restriction AND be considered a student over 18 with a guardian at the same time. Where the student has not-deleted, active information disclosure restrictions of types “Independent Student under 18” and “Student Over 18 with Guardian” at the same time1), this advice should help the user to assess if the data is correct in its current state.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Conflicting Information Disclosure Restrictions exist. An active 'Student Over 18 with Guardian' Informational Disclosure Restriction ({REF#}) should not co-exist with an active 'Independent Student under 18' informational Disclosure Restriction.
