An active email address for a student cannot be the same as the active email address of an Authorized User.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Unable to share an Email address. The Authorized user ({Authorized user Name}) should not share the same email address ({Email address}) as the Student. ({Email Address REF #})


  • ({Authorized user Name} is the name of the Authorized user that has the same email address as the student.
  • {Email address} is the Email address that has the conflict
