This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student Address record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
When Address Format is equal to Mail-CA (Address Format) then:
- Country must be equal to Canada
When Address Format is equal to Mail-US (Address Format) then:
- Country must be equal to United States
When Address Format is equal to Mail-International (Address Format) then:
- Country cannot be either Canada or United States.
When Address Format is equal to RuralAlbertaAddress (Address Format) OR Address Format is equal to ATS (Address Format) then:
- Country must be equal to Canada.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is in effect for the 2019 End Point and onwards.
Additional Notes
This rule is not case sensitive. Canada, CANADA are acceptable.
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Invalid Address Format. The Address Format provided ({AddressFormat}) is not a valid address format for the selected Country ({Country}).
Where,
- {AddressFormat} is the incorrect address format that is provided into the service.
Note: The Code Short Description for the Address Format should be displayed for the ({Address Format}) in the message.
