This rule is used to validate the following data in a Guardian record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
- Country attribute of Guardian Mailing Address Details
- Province attribute of Guardian Mailing Address Details
Description
- When Parent/Guardian Mailing Address Format is equal to Mail-CA (Address Format), then Country of Guardian Mailing Address Details must be equal to Canada.
- When Parent/Guardian Mailing Address Format is equal to Mail-US (Address Format), then Country of Guardian Mailing Address Details must be equal to United States.
- When Parent/Guardian Mailing Address Format is equal to Mail-International (Address Format), then Country of Guardian Mailing Address Details cannot be either Canada or United States.
This validation rule is in effect for the 2019 End Point and onwards.

Message
When validation rules, the following message is returned to the user:
Invalid Mailing Address Format. The Mailing address format provided ({MailingAddressFormat}) is not a valid address format for the selected country ({Country}) in the mailing address information of the parent/guardian record.
Where:
- {MailingAddressFormat} is the incorrect address format that is provided into the service.
Note: The Code Short Description for the Mailing Address Format should be displayed for the ({MailingAddress Format}) in the message.
