This rule is used to validate the following :

• Reference ID (Course Enrolment)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Entry Date
• Credits Attempted (Course Enrolment)
• Course Code (Course Enrolment)
• Credit Version
• First School Year (Authorization)
• Last School Year (Authorization)

The Course Enrolment Credits Attempted is not a valid Credit Value based on the Course Authorizations information in PASI on the course enrolment school year (from the section).

• Effective Starting School Year: 1978/1979

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

* Invalid Credits Attempted. A student cannot attempt {CreditsAttempted} credits for course {CourseCode}. Valid Credits Attempted for this course include {CourseCreditList} as of {SectionSchoolYear}.

Where:

• {Credits Attempted} means the value of the credit attempted field on the course enrolment record
• {CourseCode} means the value of the course field on the course enrolment record
• {CourseCreditList} means the list of all valid credits (in ascending order) that could be attempted for the associated course code
• {SectionSchoolYear} means the school year of the section tied to the course enrolment
