This rule is used to validate:

• Reference ID (Course Enrolment)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Course Code
• Is Territory Course Code
• Section Reference ID (Course Enrolment)
• School Code (Section)
• Governing School Authority
• School Authority Classification Type

Course enrolments for Territory courses can only be associated to schools that belong to a Territory authority, i.e. the school on the Section of the Course Enrolment must be from a Territory Authority. This rule is not applicable when the Course Enrolment record is getting deleted. This rule applies to all school years.

• Refer to Territory Authority for how to determine if an Authority is considered a “Territory Authority”.
• Refer to Territory Course Code to determine how to identify Territory Course Codes.
• This rule is equivalent to Rule 40285 - Invalid School for Territory Course; this rule is in place to create warnings that are created through SCM upload, which does not use the Submit Course Enrolment service.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid School for Territory Course. The School of the Course Enrolment for the Territory course {Course Code} {Course Desc} must be within a Territory school authority.

Where:

• {Course Code} {Course Description} reflects the course on the course enrolment.
