This rule is used to validate:

• Reference ID (Course Enrolment)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Course Code
• Is Territory Course Code
• Section Reference ID (Course Enrolment)
• School Code (Section)
• Governing School Authority
• School Authority Classification Type

Schools in the Territory authorities cannot be associated to Course Enrolments for non-Territory Course Code, i.e. when the school on the Section of the Course Enrolment is from the Territory authorities, the Course Code must be for a Territory Course.
This rule is not applicable when the Course Enrolment is getting deleted.

This rule applies to all school years.

• Refer to Territory Authority for how to determine if an Authority is considered a “Territory Authority”.
• Refer to Territory Course Code to determine how to identify Territory Course Codes.
• This rule is equivalent to Rule 40286 - Invalid Course Enrolment from Territory School; this rule is in place to create warnings that are created through SCM upload, which does not use the Submit Course Enrolment service.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid Course Enrolment from Territory School. {Course Code} is not a Territory Course Code and thus the Course Enrolment cannot be associated to a Territory School Authority.

Where:

• {Course Code} refers to the course specified on the course enrolment.
