This rule is used to validate the following :

• Evaluated Mark Reference ID

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Evaluated Mark Format
• Evaluated Mark Evaluation Method
• Evaluated Mark School Year

A letter grade is not permitted for Evaluation Methods of CHA, JRH, MUS, PVT, and WPC. Mark Format cannot = Letter.

• Effective Starting School Year: 1994/1995
• Effective Ending School Year: 2014/2015

A consolidated set of evaluated mark format/value validation rules for specific evaluation methods (40363, 40364, 40365) were created for SY=2016.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid Letter Mark for Evaluation Method. When the Evaluation Method is {Evaluation Method: CodeShortDescription} a Letter Mark is not permitted.

Where:

• {Evaluation Method: CodeShortDescription} means the short description for the evaluation method code on the evaluated mark record.
