To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

A Failing (F) Grade is not permitted for Evaluation Methods of JRH, MUS, OUT, PVT, or WPC. Mark Value cannot = F.

  • Effective Starting School Year: 1971/1972
  • Effective Ending School Year: 2014/2015

Additional Notes

A consolidated set of evaluated mark format/value validation rules for specific evaluation methods (40363, 40364, 40365) was created for SY=2016.

Message

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

  • Invalid Failing Mark for Evaluation Method. When the Evaluation Method is {Evaluation Method: CodeShortDescription} a Failing Grade ({MarkValue}) is not permitted.

Where:

  • {Evaluated Method: CodeShortDescription} means the short description value for the evaluated method code for the evaluated mark record
  • {MarkValue} means the mark value for the evaluated mark record
