This rule is used to validate the following :

• Evaluated Mark Reference ID

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Evaluated Mark Evaluation Method
• Evaluated Mark Course Code
• External Credential (Student External Credential)
• External Credential Pathway
• Is Evaluation Method Eligible

This rule will check that the student has the relevant External Credential on file and that the course submitted is in a Pathway that relates to the External Credential the student has on file.

An exception to this criteria will be made when the course submitted is ‘EXT2000’ and the student has the ‘Canadian Forces Certificate of Military Achievement’. This change will cause this rule to consider the ‘EXT2000’ as being part of the ‘Canadian Forces Certificate of Military Achievement’ pathway without the actual logical mapping.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid Evaluation Method for External Credential Pathway. The course submitted is not on an External Credential Pathway for the External Credential on the student's record.
