This rule is used to validate the following :
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
The student must be getting assessed for an Alberta High School Equivalency Diploma before Adult Equivalency evaluated mark credits can be awarded.
Only where the student has achieved1) the Student Requested (High School Equivalency Diploma) credential requirement, “adult equivalency”2) credits may be awarded via evaluated marks for the following course codes:
- AEC9994
- AEC9995
- AEC9996
- AEC9997
This rule only applies to not-deleted evaluated mark records.

Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Invalid Adult Equivalency Course. The student may only receive adult equivalency credits for {CourseCode} where they have requested their High School Equivalency Diploma.
Where {CourseCode} = the course code passed in which is one of AEC9994, AEC9995, AEC9996 or AEC9997.
