This rule is used to validate the following:

• Course
• Diploma Exam Mark Format
• Exam Period
• Exam Type
• Language of Exam
• School Year
• Diploma Exam Component information including:
  • Diploma Exam Component Code
  • Component Name
  • Component Name French
  • Component Weight
  • Diploma Exam Component Is Deleted

An attempt was made to modify an Exam that has at least one Exam Mark associated to it. An exam cannot be modified when there are exam marks associated to it.

This rule does not apply to updates to the Registration Deadline Date/Time, Rescore Deadline, Scheduled UTC Time, Is Mark Reportable, Diploma Exam English Footnote, or Diploma Exam French Footnote.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Cannot Be Updated. The Exam has exam marks associated to it.

This rule applies to:

• Release 4.10 – Added/Updated
• Release 8.02 - Updated
