Rule Name Expiry Exam Session cannot be in the past
Rule Type Rejection

Validated Data

This rule is used to validate the following:

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

A waived fee must have an expiry exam session defined. The expiry exam session must be either the current or a future exam session. To determine if an Expiry Exam Session is 'in the past':

  • Find a matching Exam (i.e. Exam with the same Course Code and Exam Session as specified in the request information) and use the Registration Deadline DateTime - if that is in the past, the session is not considered 'current or in the future'
    • If multiple Exams are found, use the latest (chronologically) Registration Deadline DateTime
    • If no matching Exam is found, use the last day of the month of the Expiry Session (e.g. if the Exam Session is Jun 2016, use Jun 30 2016) - if that is in the past then the session is not considered 'current or in the future'

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.
