This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student Credential record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
If all instances of a credential have been revoked, the credential cannot be re-issued.
Example: If an Alberta High School Diploma was awarded for the year 2002, then re-issued for the year 2001, and then both the 2001 and 2002 credentials were deleted, the credential could not be re-issued because there is no longer an awarded credential.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is in effect for all school years.
Additional Notes
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Credential number is deleted. Credential ({CredentialType}) cannot be updated. Award the credential in order to provide the student with a new credential number.
