Description

The Education Account cannot be used to established a student connection since it has had too many failed activation attempts. The Education Account has to serve a lock-out period.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Additional Notes

The Counter of number of failed attempts is incremented when:

The Maximum number of attempts permitted is a configurable value in the system. Currently, the Core.SignupMaxFailedAttempts is set to 5.
Once a user has exceeded this maximum number of attempted, then their Education Account has to serve a lock-out period. The lockout is configurable value in the system. Currently, Core.SignupLockInterval is set to 60 (minutes).

Message

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Unable to process connection request. The student connection request cannot be processed since the request has exceeded the number of allowed attempts.
