To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
A deleted Student External Credential can not be updated.
The Student External Credential must be undeleted prior to updating.
This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Cannot Add Or Modify An External Credential Record When Pre-Existing Deleted Record Exists. Undelete existing record to add and then, if need be, modify.

- Updated Message to reflect that:
- 1) It is not allowed at add an External Credential Record when there is a matching pre-existing deleted External Credential Record.
- 2) It is not allowed at modify an External Credential Record that has been logically deleted.
- 3) The proper action is to undelete the record first which adds the record. If need be, the undeleted record can then be modified.
