This rule is used to validate:

• Diploma Exam Mark Reference ID

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Is Rescored

The caller’s organization must be O.1 in order to:

• Create an Exam Mark record where Is Rescored = true; or
• Update an existing Exam Mark record where Is Rescored = true, or update an existing Exam Mark record’s Is Rescored flag to true.

This rule prevents the exam mark from being updated if it is alberta education when:

1. The user is updating an exam mark to be IsRescored = 1 OR
2. The user is creating an exam mark with IsRescored = 1 OR
3. The existing exam mark the user is trying to update already has IsRescored = 1

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Unauthorized user. You are not authorized to create or update an Exam Mark record with Is Rescored = true.
