This rule is used to validate:
- PDF document being uploaded
Description
PASI will NOT allow PDF documents protected with an open password to be added as a student document.
Additional Notes
A PDF could be protected with an open password; if so, the user is prompted to enter a password when trying to open the file. Since PASI end users will likely not have this password, PASI will reject any PDF that is secured using an open password.
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Invalid Document. This document cannot be added because it is password protected.
