The Submit Diploma Exam service is used to manage Diploma Exams in PASI Core. It can be used to:

• Add a new Diploma Exam,
• Update an existing Diploma Exam, or
• Delete an existing Diploma Exam.

This service can be used to manage a single record.

The service can be accessed by systems with the Ministry Client User role.

The following information is provided when using this service:

• A Diploma Exam with the following information:
  • Reference ID (Diploma Exam)*
  • School Year (Diploma Exam) *
  • Exam Type *
  • Exam Period (Diploma Exam) *
  • Course Code (Diploma Exam) *
  • Diploma Exam Mark Format*
  • Rescore Deadline*
  • Time
  • Language of Exam *
  • Exam Components * (one component is required)
    • Diploma Exam Component Code *
    • Component Name *
    • Component Name French *
    • Is Mark Reportable*
    • Time
    • Component Weight*
• Is Deleted (Diploma Exam)*
• PASI Core Version *

When this service is called, the data in the request is request is mapping and the Submit Diploma Exam service on the 2020 service end-point is called. The response from the 2020 service call is the mapped back to the service response.

The response from the 2020 service will be mapped to the 2019 service response information.

A response to a Submit Exam request identifies if the request was successfully applied. If not successful, the response identifies which validation rules failed.
