Course Category will be derived based on the following rules:

| 2 | SUM | Course Code that starts with ‘SUM’ |
| 3 | IOO |
|
| 4 | KAE | Is KAE is True |
| 5 | RAP | Subject Code of ‘RAP’ |
| 6 | CTS |
|
These rules are listed in Priority order, meaning if a course matches the rules for more than one category, the category listed first will be used. If the course doesn’t satisfy the rules for any of the above categories, the Course Category will be ‘REG’
