PASI will identify some credentials that should be considered for assessment for certain students. These credentials (Pre-2010) will have manual credential requirements and require a user to perform some tasks to indicate the student’s achievement of the credential requirements.

Users manually update the credential requirements for certain credentials as achieved where the student has achieved the requirement.

1. The School receives an inquiry regarding a student’s credential achievement for a credential that is NOT automatically calculated by PASI.
2. Student Records searches for the student credential and views the information using the View Student - Credentials Tab.
3. Student Records assesses the student for credential achievement.
4. Student Records updates the Credential Requirement Achievement Status to “Achieved” using the Edit Credential Requirement Achievement PASIprep screen.
   1. Note: This triggers the transcript processor to re-assess the student’s achievement of the credential.
5. End of scenario.

Student Records may search for a credential and determine that the credential has been previously awarded to the student. Continues from PS2.

This scenario ends where Student Records determine that the student has already been awarded with the Credential.

Student Records may determine that the student has NOT achieved the credential requirement. Continues from PS2.

1. Student Records updates the Credential Requirement Achievement Status to “Not Achieved” using the PASIprep Edit Credential Requirement Achievement page.

This scenario ends where the credential requirement has been set to Not Achieved for the student.
