This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
When a Student's School Enrolment record has an Enrolment Type code = 121 (Independent Student), the student should be turning 18 before the end of the School Enrolment or, there should be an active 'Independent Under 18' Information Disclosure Restriction record that overlaps the School Enrolment. If not this advice is raised.
An overlapping Information Disclosure Restriction record is one with: - an Effective Date that is on or before the Registration Exit Date (or if one isn't provided, before December 31 of the School Year), and - an Expiry Date (if provided) that is on or after the Registration Start Date.
The following logic is used to determine the SSE date range to compare against: 1. If there is a Registration Exit date, use it. 2. If not, but there is a Calendar Ref ID specified, use the end date of the calendar 3. If a Calendar Ref ID is not specified, use the logical calendar for the school/school year.
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Missing Student Disclosure Restriction record. When the student has an Enrolment Type code of 121 - Independent Student, there should also be an associated Information Disclosure Restriction record of 'Independent Under 18'.
