This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:

• Student School Enrolment: Programming Type
• Student School Enrolment: Programming Timeframe

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Student School Enrolment: Grade
• Student School Enrolment: Registration Start Date
• Student School Enrolment: Registration Exit Date
• Student School Enrolment: Is Deleted
• Student School Enrolment: Operating Schedule Reference ID
• Student School Enrolment: School Year
• Student School Enrolment: School Code
• Offering Types

For Enrolments having Programming Type = Regular and Programming Timeframe = Day, and with an Exception Code, the school must offer Special Education (E) School Grade Offering Type programming for the student school enrolment's grade and school year for the duration of the enrolment.

If a specific Operating Schedule is not referenced on the enrolment, all Operating Schedules for the School and School Year are checked.

Note: This rule is not applicable when:

• the enrolment is deleted, or
• the School Year is a future school year and there are no Operating Schedule records for the School and/or School Year.

This validation rule applies for the 2016/2017 school year and onwards.

This rule supersedes Rule 10028 - Special Education Not Offered from the 2016/2017 school year and onwards.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Where:

• {SchoolCode} is the School Code on the Student School Enrolment record.
• {Grade} is the Grade on the Student School Enrolment record.
