This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student School Enrolment record:

• Student Address
• Address Type
• Student School Enrolment Is Deleted
• Registration Start Date
• Registration Exit Date

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Address Type = Mailing (Address Type)
• Student Address
• Student School Enrolment Is Deleted
• Registration Start Date
• Registration Exit Date

If the school enrolment’s Registration Start Date is today or in the past and the Registration Exit Date is today or in the future ¹⁾, one or more not-deleted mailing address (i.e. Address Type = Mailing (Address Type)) records must exist covering each day within the registration start and end dates.

This means that there can be no gaps in the Mailing Address over the period of the Current Registration. Past and Future Registrations are not considered.

Note: If the current date is between the Registration Start Date and Registration Exit Date – the school enrolment is considered active and current.

Next scan date will be set as follows:

• If the current date is before the Registration Start Date, Next Scan Date = Registration Start Date.
• If the current date is on or after the Registration Start Date and not greater than the Registration Exit Date, then Next Scan Date = Registration Exit Date + 1.
• If the current date is > the Registration Exit Date then Next Scan Date is cleared out.

• This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
