To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

The effective date of a student's active disclosure restriction must be reasonable, meaning that the Effective Date may not be more than 1 year in the future. The information disclosure restriction type of ‘Student Over 18 with Guardian’ is excluded from this logic.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Additional Notes

To check for whether the Disclosure Restriction is active check the “IsActive” = 1 on the record.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Unreasonable Disclosure Restriction Effective Date. The Disclosure Restriction Effective Date ({EffectiveDate}) may not be more than 1 year in the future where the information disclosure restriction type is {Disclosure Restriction Type}. (Information Disclosure Restriction Reference #{RefID}).
