To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
Since Limited Access Schools/Authorities. are not able to see students unless they are associated By Last School Enrolment or higher, they are not properly able to manage the creation of potential duplicate students.
The service will not allow them to acknowledge similar ASNs which will force them to deal with Student Records to manage potential duplicates.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Access Denied. Your authority is not permitted to acknowledge ASNs. Please contact Red Tape Reduction and Student Records for assistance (StudentRecords@gov.ab.ca).
