To perform the rule validation, the following information is used:
Description
When setting the status of an ASN to Secondary, the ASN and the Primary ASN cannot be the same.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is in effect for all school years.
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Invalid Request. Cannot link the Alberta Student Number ({StateProvinceID}) to itself.
Where:
- {StateProvinceID} is the Secondary Alberta Student Number provided to the service.
