This rule is used to validate:

• Reference ID (Section)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Primary Delivery Method
• Start Date
• Section Term
• School Code (Section)
• School Code
• School Classification
• School Classification Effective Date
• School Classification Type

When the Primary Delivery Method for the Section is Distance Learning - Print Based (DSL), then the School should have a School Classification Type of Distance Learning Centre (DL) as of the Section Start Date.
If the Section Start Date is not provided, then it needs to be derived using the Section term and Section Date Deriver Logic.

This validation rule is effective up to and including the 2019/2020 School year.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid Primary Delivery Method. The Section has a Primary Delivery Method of Distance Learning (DSL) but the School is not classified as a Distance Learning Centre.
