This rule is used to validate the following:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
The Course Enrolment Assignment Date should be the current date or a date in the past.
This rule does not apply if the Course Enrolment Status is Active or Registered.
If the Course Enrolment record is created with an Assignment Date that is future dated, then this warning is generated and it gets reevaluated on the Assignment Date by setting a next scan date (See Next Scan Date for details).
This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
- Invalid Assignment Date. The Assignment Date ({AssignmentDate}) should be the current date or a date in the past.
Where:
- {AssignmentDate} means the value of the mark assignment date field on the course enrolment record
