This rule is used to validate the following data in a Diploma Exam Mark record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
The number of Component Mark records associated with the Exam Sitting that has a status of “Registered” and not deleted must always be less than or equal to the Capacity defined on the Exam Sitting. This rule will reject if saving the Exam Mark submitted will result in any one of the Component Mark's Exam Sitting capacity to be exceeded.
This rule does not apply if any of the following is true
- The exam is not a diploma exam applies to diploma exams only.
- The exam sitting's Time has past
Effective Period
- This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Capacity exceeded for Exam Sitting. The Diploma Exam Registration cannot be created for Component {exam component name} as the Exam Sitting {writing center name} - {location name} is currently at capacity with {count of exam registrations} exam registrations.
