This rule is used to validate the following data in a Diploma Exam Mark record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
The Alberta Student Number on an Exam Mark record can only be updated if the new ASN still references the same logical student, i.e. the updated ASN must be linked as a Primary or a Secondary ASN to the existing ASN on the record.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is effective for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Invalid Exam Mark ASN Update. The Alberta Student Number on an existing Exam Mark record cannot be updated to reference a different student.
