This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student Credential Requirement record:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
A credential exemption reason cannot be added to a Student Credential Requirement record for the following reasons: - The Effective Date is in the future, i.e. the exemption reason is not yet effective - The Expiry Date is in the past, i.e. the exemption reason has passed
Note an exemption reason that is not effective can be replaced by another exemption reason or removed from a Student Credential Requirement.
Effective Period
- This validation rule is in effect for all school years.
Additional Notes
When an exemption request is made, the current date of the request is the date that is used to determine if the exemption reason is effective.
This rule will execute for all Exemption Statuses.
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
The Exemption Reason provided ({Exemption Reason}) is not effective and cannot be added to any Credential Requirement.
